About Me.

Amit Kochavi grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel, while frequently spending time in the U.S., which helped shape his global perspective. He served in the Israeli Air Force in the Ofek unit and is an alumnus of the prestigious LEAD leadership program.

Amit is the founder of Cormi.com, a cloud-based business process management platform that serves low-tech businesses, helping them digitize operational processes like procurement, workforce management, and maintenance. Tidhar Group and Mr. Yoav Chelouche are investors in Cormi.com.

Amit is overseeing, on behalf of his father Doron Kochavi, the Beyond Towers development—a $1.1 billion, 3.5-million-square-foot residential and commercial project in Tel Aviv, built with Tidhar Group and Union Group. He also has extensive experience managing hundreds of apartments owned by his family in prime locations throughout Tel Aviv.

Since October 7th, Amit has been working as Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Sderot, Mr. Alon Davidi, leading efforts on a strategic plan and urban development for Sderot, one of the largest cities in the Western Negev. These efforts align with the Israeli government’s $5 billion initiative to rebuild and develop the southern region affected by Hamas. His work includes initiating The Rimon School for Music, the Applied R&D Center for Water and Agriculture, and advancing educational programs in English and STEM to further develop the region's educational and innovation capacities.

Amit is a descendant of Max Factor, the legendary cosmetics pioneer, and David M. Heyman, a prominent philanthropist. Amit serves on the boards of The Buchman Heyman Foundation and The Sharon & Herb Glaser Foundation (Israel). He is also part of Forbes 30 Under 30.
